After working right up until the last minute to make sure that the 1967 Velocity Camaro did as well as it could on the auction block, Brett Voekel of RideTech took a few minutes and captured his thoughts from a crazy week in the Arizona heat. His work paid off as the car sold for $155,000 which was right in the ballpark of what he expected it to bring.
Overall, Brett was happy with the experience and how Velocity’s actual sale went. It is no secret that there have been some people over the years who were not happy with the results of their Barrett Jackson experience and from the looks of it, doing the required leg work that Brett did is the way one must go to get the best results.
Now that Velocity has left the barn, we’re wondering what those boys are going to cook up for their next project. Each of their hot rods has gotten better and better, so the next one should really be something special.
