BangShift.com forum member Tony (Caveman) spotted this hella cool 1950 Plymouth business coupe while visiting a local motorcycle dealer. It took him all of thirty seconds to forget about the motorcycles and zone in on this potential hot rod.
We say potential because from the factory, the 97hp 217ci L-head six would have made this thing a total wheezer. The styling is subjective to say the least with that rather large automotive bum sticking out the rear and a long nose in the front.
Plymouth produced nearly 17,000, two-door business coupes in 1950 so they are not incredibly rare but they are certainly something you don’t see every day.
Tony said they were selling for $7,000.
