SEMA 2009 Parts Spotlight: Aeromotive

Aeromotive, the fuel system company that supplies everyone from street rodders to drag racers, has some cool new stuff in its booth. Probably the neatest thing we saw was the Stealth Fuel Cell, which features a fuel pump and matched filter built right into the fuel cell.

Like all of Aeromotive’s stuff, there’s a wide range of options when ordering the right pieces to feed your particular application, but this system will be right at home in everything from a 200hp Z/Stocker to a rip-snorting 2000hp door slammer—and everything in between. Ford actually uses these as OEM equipment on their badass Cobra Jet Mustangs.

Aeromotive’s Steve Matusek explained that the baffling in the tank (specifically in the pickup area) is super important to allow the cell to be run low on fuel without starving the pump. They did their homework on this one, and it appears to be a homerun solution to the normally painful task of spec’ing out a fuel system and installing it piece by piece.

We also spotted this killer setup that has stackable fuel-pressure regulators. If you’re running multiple nitrous systems, this is a perfect piece for your fuel system
