A company named Innovation Retrokits had two vehicles on display at the 2010 SEMA show. Both were 2010 Camaros. One wore the nose of a 1969 Camaro standard nose and the other wore that of an RS. There are kits to make new Corvettes look old and newer trucks to look like older ones. This is the first one we’ve seen for the 2010 Camaro.
The kit sells for nearly $7,000. It includes the front fascia, grill, headlights, chrome bumper, spoiler, lights, and mounting hardware along with brackets. We’re going to say that the fit and finish on the car are good. The panel gaps appeared to be even and the installed products appeared to be of a high quality.
We have openly dumped on the Corvette kits here before, because we find them repulsive. We’re interested in your thoughts about this one.
Is it cool? Lame? Should you just buy a ’69 Camaro if you want one?
Spill your guts and share your opinion!
