We completely understand that the point of bolting high performance parts to your hot rod is to make it faster, but hey, looks still count for something. Proof of that came to us in the form of this drop dead gorgeous Hurricane individual throttle body intake manifold from Harrop Performance. Made in Australia it combines classic racing style with all the modern performance features you’d expect.
As you’ll see from the photos below, the linkage is damned near pornographic in its hotness, but before you get to the photos, learn a little more about the piece itself. Each of the throttle bodies measures 58mm in diameter, the spun aluminum trumpets are two piece units, the intake uses all the standard fitting and sensors (throttle position, idle compensation, manifold pressure sensor, etc), the manifold is available with either cable or electronic actuation and there are models available for LS1, LS2, and LS6 engines as well.
Harrop claims gains of 42hp and 47 ft/lbs by bolting this intake on an otherwise bone stock LS7 engine. Adding one of ther cams yeilded them 128 additional horsepower and 85 additional Ft/lbs of torque. That’s tire shreddingly cool.

Smart compact design…SWEET!!!
The carbon fiber cover is cool but I think a clear cover would be evn cooler. Its a shame not to be able to see tha linkage.
