We were tipped off to the existence of a new web video site called RaceFansTV.com by one of our loyal BangShift.com readers. After clicking the link we were blown away with the amount of video, info and just plain stuff that’s available for consumption on this site. The fact that there is a “Racing Documentaries” channel sold out geeky little brains on the place immediately.
Conspicuous by its absence is a drag racing channel, but aside from that all of the other racing bases are covered from Powerboats to Sports cars to Rally and Offroad racing. There’s a Stock Car and Dirt Track channel as well.
They have a channel guide as the different “stations” work like normal TV stations, meaning that when you tune in, you’ll pick a show up in the middle unless you start your viewing at the right time. It’s no sweat to navigate and we’ve been frequent viewers of the Racing Documentaries channel.
The goal of the site is to get as much footage of the last 80 years of racing up and out to the world as possible. We know not of a better cause than that.
This site gets the 100% BangShift.com approval rating. It’s boss!
