Sold Out! ECTA’s Ohio Mile April Event Reaches 175-Car Limit

Sold Out! ECTA’s Ohio Mile April Event Reaches 175-Car Limit

We thought that the ECTA’s move to Wilmington, Ohio would increase their car counts and popularity. It looks like we were right because the ECTA’s Tonya Turk announced on Facebook yesterday that the first event at the new facility, the Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed Challenge has officially sold out for entries at 175. This means that you can get a spot on the waiting list and if enough pre-registered competitors drop out, you’ll be able to race. We wouldn’t be holding out breath for too long on that though, LSR races are a dedicated bunch. If they signed up, plan on them showing their stuff at Wilmington on April 28/29. We’ll be there capturing all the fun!

Just because the race spots are filled up, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show up to check this event out. Spectators are welcomed and if you’ve never been to an LSR event, this is a perfect opportunity to take one in first hand and see just how much fun the sport is. You’ll see cars and motorcycles powered by weirdo engines, tons of creative gearhead engineering, and the sound of high performance engines screaming their asses off for a full mile is not to be missed!

Congrats to the ECTA on their new venue, growing popularity, and dedicated band of racers. We’ll see you in April!
