We’d be 100% lying if we said we knew what a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator/MySQL Database Administrator did, but COMP Cams needs one and you could be that guy or girl! Chad and I have a website but frankly when it comes to the real nitty gritty of the computer stuff, you may as well be asking us to tune up a space rocket, we have no clue. What we do know is that people with the knowledge and skills to do a job like COMP is looking for are in demand and if you hate your current job and want to get in with one of the best companies in the automotive aftermarket, this could be your chance. The job is based in Memphis, Tennessee at COMP world HQ and you’ll become a part of the COMP IT crew. We can’t imagine a more fun place for a gearheaded computer guy or girl to end up. We have been to COMP in Memphis a few times and the place is cool.
Since we have NO qualifications to explain this job, we’ll let the COMP job description handle that. If you are interested, click the link at the bottom of the description and apply. We hope a BangShifter sees this and takes full advantage of the opportunity.

Damn, I havent screwed with MYSql. Other stuff is not to far off from what I have been doing.
What the heck i sent my resume in.
My current VPS is running CentOS 6.5, my website is powered by WordPress with a custom theme while using a MySQL database and the valves in a 496″ longrammed stroker engine in my ’60 NewYorker are moved by a CompCams rollercam… but I still can’t imagine why a cam-company would be hiring it’s own server maintenance guys…?! 🙂
