The big news from Jet-Hot during the trade show season at SEMA and PRI was the introduction of their premium color line and their new ability to do graphics, designs, and really artistic stuff with your headers, valve covers, motorcycle exhausts, and anything else you can send to them to coat (which is virtually everything). Perhaps a little lost in the hullabaloo over the neat graphical things was the fact that Jet Hot releases some 36 new colors that you can use to make these designs or solid single color coating jobs.
The fact is we all build our cars or bikes or boats or whatever to suit our own tastes. Traditionally headers got coated one of a couple of colors and that was that. Now, with this full palette of colors to pick from you can probably come damned close to matching your headers to the actual body color of your car, truck, or bike. These coating are certainly not just a good looking option, they perform at the same super high levels of all of Jet-Hot’s coatings. They are available to withstand so called “skin” temps of 1300/2000/and 2500 degrees so whether you are using a gasoline or even a diesel that can generate some crazy high exhaust temps, the colors won’t fade, chip, rub, or otherwise degrade. Don’t even think about comparing Jet-Hot’s products with the stuff that comes in a can from “any parts store USA”. Not even in the same league.
Since the folks at Jet-Hot told us that they can literally create any design on a set of headers or other component that someone can send to them digitally, we keep thinking about headers with BS logos all over them. Yeah, we should get on that.
