We don’t do a lot of stuff here at BangShift with respect to Lamborghinis because, well, why would we. That being said, it is pretty neat to see a car that costs twice or three times what a normal house does on the coast getting beat up on in the snow. The driver in this case is extreme skier Jon Olsson. Being a crazy mountain skier must be a fairly lucrative occupation these days because instead of a normal SUV or truck to haul his stuff, Olsson uses a damned all wheel drive Lamborghini!
Early in this video you’ll see Olsson using a snow shovel to remove the snow from the car. At first we were thinking that the guy was a total clueless dork but he then says that the car is wrapped, so the paint is protected….until his shovel tears through the wrap and scratches the hell out of it. Cleaning tactics aside, seeing the AWD Lambo work in the snow is pretty neat, especially when he gets to drifting and sliding it around. We’re pretty sure the guys at Lamborghini didn’t have this in mind when they came up with the AWD system…unless one was an escapee from Subaru.
The thing sounds pretty freaking bad ass, is being driven in anger, and seems to be right at home in the snowy mountains. Shocking as it may seem, we think that this video is pretty neat.

its just a car. I’d maybe shed a tear over a really nice muscle car or hot rod being thrashed in the snow – but not really.Its a car, its what its supposed to do. What are ya gonna do, walk in the snow? and as for them trying to upset people cos its a lambo, who fuckin cares? Only fan boys with posters on the wall and posers that own them. I cannot understand why people think that lambo’s or Ferraris need to be kept on a temperature controlled pedestal – they are supposedly racing cars, they’re designed to be thrashed. If they can’t take a bit of cold water as well, what is the point of them??
If you think that Lambo is something, you should see his Carbon Audi R8. All of his vehicles no matter what it is, always has a ski rack on it.

I like the Gallardo, if I had the money, I’d probably buy one and being Canadian I’d probably drive it in the snow too. Carrera 4 owners have been doing it for years.
