RHS Unveils The Most Versatile Single Plane Small Block Chevy Intake Ever

You’ve got a lot of options out there as a consumer when shopping small block Chevy intake manifolds. There are old designs, weird designs, and new designs to consider. We think that it’s cool companies like RHS are still investing in developing new pieces to make power in the venerable small block realm as the world seems to be LS-crazy!

RHS has just made that shopping decision a little easier for anyone looking for a single plane 23-degree small block intake with their new RHS Single Plane 23-degree offering. This baby has been drilled to fit every small block ever made. Old school traditional small blocks, Vortec engines, and even the newer perimeter style bolt pattern used by modern crate engines. This is good news for anyone who builds a motor, runs it for a time and wants to upgrade heads. No longer do you have to hog out your existing intake to “make it work”. The RHS intake has the right holes ready and waiting to be used. Also, it can be had prepared for fuel injectors or even with the rails already installed! These guys have literally covered every small block option that there is.

HERE’S THE FULL RELEASE FROM RHS –

The RHS® Single Plane 23° Aluminum Intake Manifold is engineered specifically to port match fit RHS® 23° Small Block Chevy cylinder heads. Additionally, this manifold is the only one designed with bolt machining to fit all versions of Small Block Chevy cylinder heads, including classic originals, Vortec GM heads and late model perimeter corner vertical bolt style crate engine heads. It provides the power and strong torque curve throughout the mid-RPM range that is required for performance street, circle track and drag race applications up to 434c.i. The manifold also features auxiliary water ports, integral water crossover and dual sided distributor mounting points. Female pipe fittings at all four corners allow external water lines for reverse cooling applications.

RHS® and sister company FAST™ have teamed up to design a revolutionary port fuel injection version of these manifolds. Unlike the competition, the EFI manifold features port angle optimized injector bung mounting and machining features. FAST™ engineers laid the injectors down on an angle that points injectors directly at the valve stem. Additionally, the EFI manifold features integral air temp and map sensors improving function, fitment and packaging.

RHS® Single Plane EFI Intake Manifold features:

  • Fits all versions of Small Block Chevy cylinder heads, including classic originals, Vortec GM heads and late model perimeter corner vertical bolt style crate engine heads.
  • Port angle optimized injector bung mounting and machining features.  Injectors are laid down at an angle that points injectors directly at the valve stem.
  • Integral air temp and MAP sensors improve function, fitment and packaging. Uses LS1-Style MAP/FAST™ Part # 307029 and Air Temp sensor FAST™ Part # 307004.
  • Provides the power and strong torque curve throughout the mid-RPM range that is required for performance street, circle track and drag race applications up to 434c.i.
  • 4150 flange that works with many aftermarket 4BBL throttle bodies and throttle body adaptor elbows.
  • Auxiliary water ports, integral water crossover and dual sided distributor mounting points. Female pipe fittings at all four corners allow external water lines for reverse cooling applications.
  • Does not include fuel rails. Part # 12903-KIT includes intake manifold and fuel rails.
