You see them on Amazon, Facebook ads, Youtube ads, they seem to be everywhere! We’re talking ultra high power flashlights. These things claim to boil water, light fires, guide spacecraft in for landings during power outages, and allow you to see things so far away that the curvature of the earth actually becomes your problem and I’m sure some of them have a solution for that. Or so their ads say. And all for eleventeen dollars. Okay maybe $24,95.
At any rate, Torque Test Channel is going to take them to the testers and see what they really put out and if places like Amazon should be ashamed.
Video Description:
Flashlights on Amazon appear to read more like creative writing fiction now-days than a listing of products and specs. ARE these lumen titans delivering upwards of 120,000 a piece? Anything close to that? For 60-20 hours? Do they go pop as soon as you drop them? We want to know, because if nothing else it sounds hilarious.
