Metal shaping is fun! It’s amazing how much you can manipulate sheet metal, and the variety of tools that you can use to do the manipulating. Whether you have an English wheel, planishing hammer, torch, hammer and dolly, or a combination of all of them, you can move some metal. The power hammer on the other hand is the beast of tools when it comes to metal shaping, but with the right technique you can do amazing shaping in a short period of time. And while this is a tool that many look at as complete brute force, it can do a really nice job of making subtle low crown shapes if you use the right techniques and that’s what you are going to see in this latest video from Bennett’s.
