I’ve always wanted to either widen a set of wheels in my shop, or rehoop a set of wheels to make them a completely different diameter and/or width. So when I saw this video, where a set of rare and cool 1970’s Spinstars were getting new hoops, and being turned into a bolt together two piece wheel, I was pretty stoked and knew I needed to check it out. In this video there is some lathe work that goes down, but I’m sure some of you could get creative and come up with an alternative method. It’s got my brain working, that’s for sure.
