Can This Vehicle Be Saved? A Shop Wants $12,915 for Repairs On This Thing! Is It Worth Doing The Work Yourself At Home Instead?

Can This Vehicle Be Saved? A Shop Wants $12,915 for Repairs On This Thing! Is It Worth Doing The Work Yourself At Home Instead?

Project Farm is back at it, with a slightly different spin than their normal video. In this one he’s taking a car that the shop says needs almost $13,000 worth of repairs. One of those things is a rebuilt engine, because they think that 200,000 miles means this Honda engine needs a rebuild, but even when you take that off then the repair bill is still big money. In this video he goes through each repair individually to show what the shop quoted, what the parts cost, and how much time it took him to make the repair himself. He also mentions how hard it was to make the repair. So check it out, and see if you think it’s worth doing all this yourself. I sure do!

Video Description:

A local mechanic shop identified almost $13,000 in other repairs. Also, I ran into a major engine problem when trying to repair this 2002 Honda CRV. A cracked block usually results in the total loss of the engine. Let’s try to save it!

I bought all of the parts and supplies used in this video and never accept sponsorships. So, thank you for supporting the channel!
