Sometimes your friends can be your worst enemies. You know it’s true because we’ve all either been the friend doing the influencing, or been influenced by a friend to become a car guy or girl. I mean what good can come from that? I’ve been that friend too many times to count. Oh, and as enthusiasts we are also enablers so we are great at helping our friends make poor financial decisions when it comes to cars. What are friends for?

A few weeks ago Karl and Brent held a 1 day metal working class. I learned A TON from those guys that day. A couple of weeks have passed and I figured I would re-try what I learned on my own. it always seems so easy when you can ask questions along the way…. This time I was on my own. I try my hand at metal tucking, shrinking, stretching, planishing ect. I have a few very very basic metal working tools in the shop. Sand bag, stump, hammers, small english wheel and a cheap planishing hammer is all I have. Watch me struggle to make a bowl and shrink some metal.
