Paul Brodie’s videos that I usually look at are about brazing and bicycle building, not muffler making. With that said, Paul is a bad ass and makes some super cool stuff so when I saw that he had put out a video about how to make a muffler, I was intrigued. This muffler is going on a motorcycle, so I guess it kind of fits after all, but it really doesn’t matter what it’s going on because what I’m more interested in is the design and process of building it. How about you? What do you want to learn while watching this video?

The fact that this muffler is for a Triumph Tiger Cub also makes me happy because I once owned a Tiger Cub but sold it because it was going to require more work than I was comfortable with at the time. I didn’t know much about motorcycles growing up, and that intimidated me when faced with fixing this old motorcycle that had as many missing parts as those that were actually present. Paul has one in the shop and is figuring out the exhaust in this video, which includes actually making the muffler from scratch. I dig it. You will too.
