A couple of weeks ago we showed you a video on how to make a custom one-piece headliner in a suicide door Lincoln, and now this video is going to show how to take the dash from that car and make it cool. The first thing is to fix all the cracked foam and “vinyl” that is on top of the dash, and then to foam the whole thing so it is smooth. Then it is on to covering it with vinyl that looks right. If only it was that easy.

We like the simplicity of these Upholstery Tips videos and the fact that he encourages everyone watching to try it out. He’s got simple instructions and positive attitude and tips that once again made me think I could do this. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all over getting a reproduction dash pad when they are available, but sometimes that just isn’t possible.
