Metal Fabrication Projects: How To Make Cool, Simple, Bomber Seats At Home – Part 1

There are lots of cool projects that would look great with a set of bomber seats in them, but they can be pretty pricey for the nice ones and the cheap ones kind of feel like it. So when I saw this video on how to make your own, I thought I should share. These are a no weld project, which is not my norm, but that means you don’t need all the special tools to make these for your ride. In fact, the builder even goes over how to dimple holes without a set of dies.

Video Description:

I show you how I build the best bomber seats from one piece of metal, with no welding required! These bomber seats will be used in the 1951 Chevy 3100 rat rod truck that I’m currently building. In part 2, I will show you how to make flared or dimpled speed holes with simple tools, no commercial dies required!
