With the insane battery technology that has become available in the past few years, jump starters have become smaller and smaller and yet are more powerful than ever. I remember the first time I used one of these small ones and thought there was no way it would work. It did and then we proceeded to test it on several other vehicles just to see what it could start. We were blown away to see that it could start diesel pickups without their batteries connected, with zero issue. It really was impressive.
But as impressive as it was, there wasn’t really a scientific process going on to test it. In the video below, Project Farm gets much more scientific and puts a bunch of jumper starters to the test to see which one is best. And these particular jump starters also have air compressors, or inflators, in them. When he’s done testing them all, he claims that one in particular is the best jump starter he’s ever tested.
