Besides cool tools like a welder, sheetmetal brake, english wheel, and the like, there are lots of other things that make a shop look special. Workbenches, toolboxes, lifts, and shelves can round out the look, but a shop with cool signs, memorabilia, and lights can really pop. I’ve had lots of cool signs and banners over the years as well, but some of the cool stuff I’ve made to hang on the walls are my favorites.

I’ve got a cool GM sign that we put together several years ago and tires and such that hang on the wall. I’ve even had some interesting parts hanging on the wall before, but I’ve never put together something really special like the front end of a car to hang up. So when I saw this cool video from UrchFab of their Ford 100E nose complete with lights and a custom plasma cut grill I was inspired. I think that I’m going to have to get some junk front and rear end parts and make a few of these for myself when we get the new shop done.
