We’ve got to thank Charles Wickam for being an unknowing tipster on this one as we saw the link on his FB page and had to share it. A drunken driver in Texas took what looks to be a Ford Flex and launched it off a grass berm at a high rate of speed through two houses and then onto the roof of another place where police had to crane it off this morning. You always know the driver has done something wrong when the news story begins with, “It happened about the time the bars closed….”. The news clip has all the highlights you’d expect. Weirdo neighbors, footage of fire trucks, a Ford Flex upside down on a damned roof.
Oh, the driver was largely uninjured in the crash and was apparently spotted sending a text while being loaded into an ambulance. We’re guessing that was the preemptive strike to his wife, girlfriend, or mother warning them that anything they heard on the news was wrong and that the car would be fine after it was craned off the roof of the building it was stuck on. Oh…and a gun fell out of the car when it was pulled off the roof so the driver may be in deeper dookie than he thought he was. Hey, when it rains it pours.

That’ll buff out.
Dude don’t you know that only works if you have a 70’s Dukes Of Hazzard charger #truestory…
You cant park there.
having a gun down here is OK if it is not hot
Give the man another beer. How do ya expect him to drive with only 25 or 30?
That driver is very lucky. how he got up there still a mystery, he escaped unscathed. the owner of the house must have been so scared. i hope that guy has insurance because the trouble has not started yet.
