A warning to begin. This collection from our grandfather’s scrap books contains several photos from fatal wrecks back in the early 1950s. The photos are not exceedingly graphic, but they are of wrecks that resulted in loss of life. Also here, you’ll see some cool old trucks and a home made car performing a fun publicity stunt/feat of strength.

Amazing how up-scaled haul trucks have gotten. Tires are now 72 ply and the suspensions are hydraulic instead of air.
