Do you love watches? Do you hate money? Do you have lots of watches and money? If so, we’ve got the gift for you! This is a watch winder (we didn’t even know such a thing existed) made from what looks to be billet aluminum, based on the 16-cylinder Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron engine. It costs a measley $115,280, but it does hold 16 watches. Hear that, 16 watches!
If we were super wealthy we still wouldn’t want this thing. After all, our sweet 1980s era calculator watch doesn’t need to be wound up, ever. Top that Bugatti watch winder thing!
We do have respect for the machine work and mechanical beauty of the thing. On some level it is pretty bad ass, but it would be way better with 16 little pistons, a crank, and wee little cylinder heads. Hey, maybe some rich Arabian oil guy will buy one and commission someone to make a runner out of it.
The way we do math, $115,280 is equivalent to nearly 210 tractors at $550 a piece. We’ll take the tractors.
