Tragedy: Three Killed in Horrific Florida Street Racing Wreck

Three people have died as a result of a high speed car wreck in Holly Hill, Florida. The single car accident happened on Thursday night and is believe to be streer-race induced as the Camaro that crashed was seen racing a blue Monte Carlo. The impact was so forceful and the damage so great, police had to take extra steps to determine the gender of the people in the car.

Neighbors called the police because they thought a car had exploded on the street, not knowing exactly what had happened moments after the crash. Police stated that the speedometer was stuck at 100 mph in the car. Irony or not, this is very sad, and the type of fuel all those who hate our hobby like to use against us. Here’s the story.

Just go to the freaking drag strip, please. Only days after the fatal incident involving a big block Chevy powered Opel GT, we have this.

No one intends to kill themselves or their friends in a street racing accident, but it’s happening and garnering more and more negative publicity for hot rods and the cars we love in general. We implore you: GO TO THE DRAG STRIP.

Thanks for the tip on this story Steve!
