You know how much we love, okay and hate, TRARS (cars on truck chassis’) around here, so when Greg and Bob sent in photos of this one that they saw in DuQuoin while shooting the Street Machine Nationals, we couldn’t stop staring at it. We are sure it’s a Plymouth Laser body, 1990-1994 to be specific, but we can’t quite make out the chassis. It looks to us like the leaf sprung rear is pretty standard, but that the front suspension is probably independent. Does this mean it’s a Suzuki Sidekick chassis perhaps?
We thought Mitsubishi Montero for a second since the Plymouth Laser is just a re-badged, and slightly re-bodied, Mitsubishi Eclipse. The problem with that is the 5 lug wheels on this particular TRAR. Montero’s were 6 lug. So what do you guys think? Can you figure it out?
