Well, the NHRA Winternationals washed out today in Pomona, but not before some crazy action went down in Stock Eliminator. John Irving, a competitor making a qualifying run in his M/SA Dodge truck experienced a failure of what we are guessing was either a wheel or his wheel studs.
Either way, he ran over the Christmas Tree, a rare and spectacular feat.
