Unhinged: Supporting Selfless Service And Saving A Dodge Truck

Unhinged: Supporting Selfless Service And Saving A Dodge Truck

If you’ve seen any of the Summernats 33 coverage, you probably have a pretty solid idea on just how hellish Australia is right now. If not, here’s a basic layout: on the eastern side of the continent, from Brisbane south to the southeastern corner near Melbourne, is more or less a line of fire that enters into the continent about 250 miles. Over 25 million acres (or, for better context, an area about the size of Indiana) have burned. The amount of animals that might perish in the bushfires is going to be staggering, and one man is bent on heading to the country to help however he can.

I’m all about helping anyone who is willing to help the helpless. Selling a ’78 Dodge is only a small drop in the bucket for what this guy will need, but the fact that he’s willing to part with it to fund a short trip to Australia to help out any way that he can earns my ultimate respect and admiration. In current times, when I feel like humanity is just about hopeless for the most part, it’s people like this guy who remind me that not all is lost.

If you are interested in the truck, you’ll find his for sale post on the Tin Grille Dodge Trucks page. If you want to help him out, you can check out and donate to his GoFundMe. I don’t want to see this guy have to sell his truck just so he can go help out those who need help.
