While we’re not the most versed drifting guys in the world, we know entertaining video when we see it! This three minute film shows drift-master Vaughn Gittin Jr. chasing a miniature of himself in his K&N backed Ford Mustang. While Gittin’s skills are on full display for all to see, the dude who was off camera driving the R/C car needs some love too because he’s a master! At the end you’ll see a few outtakes where the R/C car falls prey to the full sized, tire smoking beast that Gittin drives, but during the actual edited film, it is poetry in motion.
Vaughn is a neat guy and his Mustang is a true tire shredding screamer. We have been him at work in person and the man can handle a car like few others. Note some of the finesse work he performs in this video, like sending the back end of the car under a trailer and not peeling the roof off, a la Smokey and the Bandit!
