We have had GM, Mopar and Fords this week, but I didn’t have much hope on finding any footage of a big AMC product mixing it up that didn’t involve either old television footage of Adam 12 or a demolition derby. I’ve never been happier to be wrong…while the number of videos on YouTube were low, the quality of videos was perfect. I’m convinced that AMC V8’s have the snottiest exhaust note of all of the manufacturers. While I love a high-revving 327 or 302, nothing beats a pissed-off AMC motor for the out-and-out bass notes in my ears. The Rebel is beater-riffic, and that Ambassador coupe is serious business. And just for sheer greatness, from Australia, a 440-powered Ambassador SST wagon playing by the Aussie rules, a classic video on the net. Enjoy!
The White Rebel is a right driver w/ overseas plates as well most likely Aussie as NZ does not require the cars to be right driver converted.
