We often joke about trying to add “Smell-O-Vision” technology to the BangShift streaming drag race broadcasts to inject the scent of nitro into the shops and homes of viewers all over the world. After seeing the following video, we are going to double our R&D efforts from $5.00 to $10.00 invested in making this happen. Filmed at the 2012 March Meet, this video is an awesomely edited compilation of nitro team warm ups. One of the great experience for a first time viewer of nitro cars is taking them into the pits and allowing them to get a face full of the good stuff when the teams fire their motors, seat their clutches, and fill the air with that mystical yellow haze.
This is not a slapped together bunch of clips. Instead it really tells and awesome story and takes you the viewer behind the ropes and almost right into the zoomie pipes and the heaviest hitters in nostalgia drag racing get their nitro swilling bombs ready for battle. It is a workaday part of the daily routine for the crews, but for fans and enthusiasts like us, this is three minutes of enthralling action.
