Quick, name one thing that a rabbit is known for. If you said anything related to swiftness, you’re right! Knowing that, how well do you think you would do catching one with just a metal bucket and a few friends for help? Well, if you can’t picture how badly you would fail, fear not: NASCAR track officials at Bristol Motor Speedway got a chance to try it out for themselves during the practice sessions for the upcoming NASCAR Truck series race. The cottontail outfoxed every attempt at capture and proceeded to haul ass down the front straight like it was trying to set a lap time. Meanwhile, the announcers and film crew were taunting the track crew (you can hear them in the background, laughing their asses off) and media members along the infield wall were getting a show to remember. Try as they might, the rabbit had the last laugh, evading capture and just flat-out disappearing somewhere in the infield.

You mean to tell me that none of these rednecks had a gun?
Believe me, if it wasn’t for the ESPN cameras that bunny would be rabbit stew by now! 🙂
They should catch the rabbit and take it to a mile and a half track. Nascar trying to catch it would surely be more exciting than the races at those tracks . give me back Wilksboro, The Rock , and build more short tracks!!!!!
