When I was a kid, I had a few Honda ATC 200 three-wheelers. I loved them, but after I got over the learning curve of pull-starting the damn things when they were cold, got over the fear of the power (hey, remember, I was a kid here) and had mastered the fun stuff like jumps, wheelies and power slides, I got to the point where I wanted more. I wanted the engine out of one friend’s Honda 250R that I rode, that had enough high-end grunt to honestly freak me out. More power is always good, and having the kind of power that you know you have to respect if you wish to keep your skin on your hide is even better. So when I found this video, done up by VisioRacer, I was in love immediately. My favorite has to be the GSX-R 1000 powered quad that does Aussie-quality burnouts while ripping straight through the gears and drifts at the mere thought of hanging sideways…that was the ATV I wanted as a kid. Which one would you take?
Fun, and the best part of that entire video is this: the fastest quads were ridden by the stupidest people – so they’ll be for sale in the estate sale soon 🙂
Agree. Some of those folks are get hurt or worse. There are reasons for all the safety equipment required.
