Best Of BangShift 2013: A Wheels Up ‘Cuda Climbs The Wall At Half Track And Takes Down Poles Along The Way

Launching Larry is one of these guys that comes out to events and pulls big giant wheelstands with his Barracuda without the aid of wheelie bars or any trickery. He competes in the power wheelstand competitions and is booked at nostalgia drag races all over the midwest. Hell, he was at the World Series of Drag Racing a few weeks ago where we were broadcasting live. We watched him run all weekend long and though almost every run he made would be his last because Larry isn’t really good at staying in one lane. That can be problematic at times, and at a race at Central Illinois Dragway it proved to be a real bitch last weekend. Watch the video, and see Larry stand this bad boy on the bumper and drive it all the way from one wall to the other before straddling the left wall, taking out a light pole or two, and then disappearing from site. We are told Larry is unhurt, although we are sure that he pretty sore right now.

I’m glad that Larry didn’t get seriously hurt, I met him last year at Monster Mopar Weekend, he’s a good guy that supports us veterans.
