Because it is the end of the year and racing season has all but ended, lots of media outlets (like us!) are running their “best of” or “year in review” type content. The talented dudes at NitroArtVideo are doing the same thing and recently released their “Wild Rides of 2013” teaser video. This is a four minute thrill ride from about a dozen different tracks all across the country featuring door slammer insanity. We’re talking non-stop wheelies, wall scrapers, wall bangers, and incredible saves. There’s even a couple of huge fires, nitrous explosions, and head scratching WTFs in there for good measure. Kevin at NitroArt is one of the hardest core guys we know in the small tire scene and the guy hit something like 30 events over the course of 2013. One of the cool things about his video work is that you’re virtually guaranteed to see footage from a bunch of small outlaw tracks with hugely powerful cars and drivers hanging on for dear life.

Our favorite clips? The two Mustangs that take flight on different runs at Sough Georgia Motorsports Park. Both of them are literally skidding vertically on the parachutes and both land on all four wheels with their drivers managing to keep them off the guard walls and only leave themselves taco’d front suspensions, headers, and wheels to deal with. There are scary moments here as well, especially a couple of the “center punch” style high speed top end wrecks. A couple of those made us literally yell out loud when we saw ’em. We trust that Kevin included only footage of wrecks that the drivers have fully recovered from or in most cases, walked away from.
