In the United States, on average, 300 or so people die in sinking or submerged vehicles. It’s a sad statistic that can be prevented. In this video, reporter Brian Allen volunteers to take a ride inside of a Buick Century wagon into a lake in Iowa to show how it’s done. Before you say “roll down the windows!”, realize that the car is gutted to avoid lake pollution; it has no battery, so if the Buick has power windows, they aren’t going to do him a lick of good.
