Watch This Twin Turbo Small Block Chevy Make Over 2100 Horsepower At Only 16lbs Of Boost!

Brian Macy and the gang from The EFI Store get to tune on some pretty fun stuff, and when he told us about this Twin Turbo 434 cubic inch Small Block Chevy that he recently tuned to 2147 horsepower, we started drooling immediately. The engine will find a home in the Extreme Drag Radial Camaro built by Brian Smith that is also seen in the video, and we can only imagine that this little bastard is going to haul some serious ass. We’ve had the pleasure of attending one of Brian’s EFI Training courses where he teaches the ins and outs of FAST’s XFI system and can tell you that he lives and breaths this stuff. I tell you this because even he was excited about the numbers they were able to achieve with this kick ass big block.

Running on alcohol, with a big water to air intercooler, means this sucker has seriously low intake air temps, and therefore huge power potential. They are running the FAST XFI with 16 injectors and an MSD Mag for max spark energy which is even more important on a boosted setup like this one. 16lbs of boost means they aren’t beating the snot out of this thing either which means they should have a trouble free season full of fast laps in the car. When the 2014 PSCA season opens at the Record Breaker Nationals, this Camaro is going to be one to watch.

And speaking of watching, check out the video below. This is what 2147 horsepower looks like. Watch the engine move at the hit. It’s impressive as hell.
