Land of moose, Pamela Anderson, a maybe not-so-surprising variety of beers, and people that remain polite and courteous to a fault, even when they are busy wrecking a 2002 Mini Cooper by rolling it into a ditch.
This video had me rolling from beginning to end, starting with the wheel-spinning 1-2 shift that sounds like it ripped a few teeth off the gears, through the crash itself, and finishing with everyone’s deer in the headlights look as they try to figure out what to do next.
I’m still a little skeptical of the authenticity of the rollover itself as the camera conveniently cut out and the bearded wild-man wielding it even makes note of this, but the tire tracks seem to show the car heading off into the ditch and the car rolled over in the correct direction, so either it really happened or someone up there in Canuckistan was aware of the concept of continuity when filming.
Favorite line of the video: “Your rear antlers are all buckled”. No, I have no idea what that means either, but if one of you crazy Canucks wants to enlighten me, I’m all ears.
WARNING: Although delivered in a polite Canadian accent, there is a fair amount of swearing in the video, so throw on a pair of headphones if you’re going to watch this at work. Trust me, you need the sound on for this one.
