So Kevin got this rusted hulk of a 1979 Ford Bronco running. Nice, good for him. He’s had enough practice waking up iron oxide piles that bear resemblance to 1970s-era Ford trucks over the years, what’s one more? He got it to drive, and even stop. Even better. And surprisingly, neither his cameraman nor his friend fell through the floor on that adventure. So, regardless of how much smack we talk about the truck, he’s pretty far ahead. But there’s one big note regarding this truck: it is being built to compete in a cheap-truck challenge…and that means compete, not break in half at the first obstacle. that would be a pretty crappy “fun event”, having to clean up what used to be the rear quarter panel that fell off and shattered into about twenty pounds of red dust. So, it’s time to make some improvements to the turd. Get the polish.

Okay, maybe not the polish. Maybe, instead, it’s time to bust out the sudden ability and drive to engineer some safety back into the Ford. Math will be done. more math than should ever be shown on a build. Pipe will be bent, death wheels will make sparks and the floor will be patched…maybe. And you are going to see some of the sketchiest wheel setup I’ve yet seen. That’s not kidding. This is the most farfetched thing that Kevin has ever done, and this is the guy who looks at a car that sat under floodwater and thinks that he’s struck gold, building his own wheels out of a mixture of 1980s Ranger wheels and 1990s Ram wheels. Yikes.
