We love rally racing because it is exciting, fast, and there is still an element of danger to it, and we aren’t just talking about the fans that stand in the middle of the stage route. Driving the car is an exercise in surprise management: between the driver and the co-driver, the corners should be known, the pace should be set, and the driver should be able to adjust their style to changing conditions. Accidents do happen, but that’s just part of the game. But, if I were you, right now I wouldn’t bring that up to Irish driver Kris Meeke. That wide-eyed look on Meeke’s face isn’t there by accident. He, along with co-driver Paul Nagle, were shaking down their Citroen DS3 rally car for the upcoming Polish Rally when they inadvertently set the record time for crashing out a rally car. We sincerely doubt that anyone can beat what happened here: seven seconds from launch, in the first corner, the Citroen barrel-rolls before landing on it’s wheels. It isn’t a soft rollover, either. Click play below to see what all happened and see if you can determine what caused the DS3 to roll over and play dead.
Language warning: If you rolled a car in the first corner, you might say something similar. Headphones or low volume is advised.

`What the fokk happened there?’ Indeed…
