Brian King’s 1982 Oldsmobile made one hell of an entrance when he appeared on YouTube hazing all four tires off of the car, the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering-built and ProCharged LS2 screamin’ like a demon as the G-body strained against the chains that were necessary to hold the Oldsmobile down in one place. While we don’t know if the entire housing authority showed up to his front door in angry mob mode, we do know that anyone who has an interest in cars and access to the internet learned about this beast in zero seconds flat…for months after we first saw it, videos of the Cutlass repaving King’s driveway would appear on Facebook over and over again.
Now, when you do something that memorable and only show it off via YouTube, naturally someone out there is going to want to see it actually go down in person. That someone would be Kyle from 1320Video, who just blatantly walked up to King and asked if he’d like to repeat the performance for a crowd at the 2016 Ice Cream Cruise in Omaha, Nebraska. Of course he’d be fine with it…but there is that small matter of his wife not being cool with frying off a full set of tires just for fun. Oh, wait…there’s a set of throwaway tires nearby that we can melt down? Get the chains and a heavy truck, it’s time to rock!

GM coulda/shoulda built something like this – instead of the stickers add stripes that we got.
I agree! Image seeing a 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird using a Syclone drivetrain.
