Might As Well Make It Pretty: Painting The Engine Donor Mustang Up

The original plan for this mid-’00s Mustang was simple: rip the Boss 302 engine out of the car and shove it into the best big-boy Bronco that the Deboss Garage guys could find. And like every other good plan made before March of 2020, the moment things started to go together was the moment a loud flushing noise could be heard. That was the sound of every last plan swirling around the bowl before heading out to sea. Since the U.S./Canada border has been closed in the name of health and safety, the Bronco has yet to materialize. With no Bronco, all that was left was a riced-out Mustang. Well, it wasn’t the plan that they had but it was the material they had to work with, and Rich has been working, alright. If this Mustang has to sit around the shop, it might as well be a little less visually offensive, right?

Sure, we’ll go with that.

The car is still slated to give up the ghost, but it does not mean an instant death sentence. In fact, the car’s got one hell of a future ahead of it if the plans are legitimate. So painting the Mustang up actually makes sense. Sounds like I’m rambling, doesn’t it? It’s ok…hit play below and you’ll get the story straight from Rich!
