With side by side UTVs being all the rage in recent years, whether for fun or utility, there is no shortage of options for whatever you are looking for. But what if you want something that is truly different? As the owner of a Cushman Truckster, I can tell you that different is not only cool, but sometimes handy as well. And a cab forward design is pretty rare with regards to the current crop of side by sides. That’s why Mike Festiva decided he wanted to build his own. Well, that and the fact that he had a doner that was begging to be saved.

This is part 1 of my Mini Pinzgauer M712 6×6 replica build. I’m starting with an old Polaris Big Boss 250cc 6×6. It seemed like the perfect machine to cut apart for my build because it was broken down, free, and had a lot of good parts to convert to a cab-forward side x side project.
