Morning Symphony: The Bisimoto Odyssey Burning The Tires Down With Only 4/10ths Of Power On-Hand!

You know this Honda Odyssey. This is the Bisimoto creation that still, years later, is the most wicked minivan that we’ve ever known about. 1,029 horsepower out of an extremely worked over version of the original V6 that the Honda came with, force-fed with a hefty turbocharger, and wearing it’s intercooler like a Rolls Royce grille, the Bisimoto Honda is either the work of a genius with an eye for the finer points of a build, or is proof that insanity plus skill and money create some truly awe-inspiring art when done right. Seriously, who converts a minivan to run a six-speed manual transmission? Who daily-drives something with four-digit horsepower capability driving only the front wheels? And better still, who put a car seat in a minivan that could absolutely and utterly stomp any challenger from any discipline?

And don’t for a second think that this thing is quiet. The Odyssey runs a program that limits output based upon what gear is selected, but for the first-gear burns you will see, it’s only pushing about 450 horsepower. “Only”…this thing sounds like an F1 car as it is, but putting all 1,029 to the tires in first gear would be the death of something. Axle shaft, front tires, driver…no good is coming out of that scene. Hell, we’d settle for 450 horsepower across all six gears in a Honda van if it sounded like this everyday!
