Night At The Museum, Part 2: More In-Depth Looks From The Petersen Museum

The experience of having a museum all to yourself, nobody around, no security to whisk you away, that’s a dream come true for a car geek. It should be, anyways. We love seeing cars in action, without a doubt. We’re spoiled with drag car action, we see a bit of road course action, but to take a moment without a crowd around you and to just study the vehicle for what it is, the design, the details, the little bits here and there that make it what it is…that’s a dream. And Brian Scotto got to live that dream for a day, strolling around the Petersen Museum with credentials about one step below carte blanche and recording equipment. Yeah, tall one, we’re jealous. I am, at least.

There is only so many hours in the day, so there isn’t a ton of cars crammed into the film. But that’s not the point of going to a museum…you don’t hit up a buffet and cram every last thing down your throat. You find what you like and you enjoy that, and maybe, if you have the room, you sample something you want to try. That’s what you’re getting here…Porsches, RX-7s, Panteras  and more. And as the camera pans, see if you can identify the other cars in the background, like the Hongqi limousines, Jaguar XJ220s, lowrider Impalas, Tuckers and more!
