Chuck Noble’s name is no stranger to the pages of BangShift, Chuck is one of those cool guys with a welder and a plan. He’s been working for a few seasons now on completing a Nitro Harley that he literally scratch built in his small home shop. That journey is nearing an end as the bike is now together and running. Chuck has been messing with nitro for as long as he’s been building the bike, learning how to run lower powered combos safely and getting his chops before putting the wood to the big boy motor that is in this creation.
We dig this video because you’ll see Chuck (in gas mask) and a henchman fire the bike and hit the throttle a few times. When we say that this bastard literally wants to leap completely off the jacks when the throttle is cracked open, we’re not kidding. We also dig this video because it is total proof that if you’ve got a little work space (and Chuck has a LITTLE works space) a dream, some tools, and the desire you can do some truly awesome stuff. Would it have been cool if Chuck bought a Nitro Harley and figured it out from there, yeah, but it isn’t nearly as epic as building the whole thing yourself, teaching yourself to deal with the most volatile racing fuel on Earth and then having the stones to actually attempt to tame this beat down a track.
We’re going to have two videos below. The first is the gnarly fire up and throttle winging awesomness and the second is a video Chuck made that shows how the project came together and actually formed up. Did we mention that this baby has a big BS sticker right on the front of it? (when the body is mounted) Chuck RULES! A hearty congrats from us to Chuck for seeing this wild ass project through.
