No Times, No Prep, No Problem: Midnight Drags From Tulsa Raceway Park!

No Times, No Prep, No Problem: Midnight Drags From Tulsa Raceway Park!

You want to know what the middle ground between drag racing and street racing looks like? Here it is…it’s the Midnight Drags at Tulsa Raceway Park, and it’s got the right mix of both sides of the coin. The cars are run at the track, not on the street, but a dragstrip that offers some protection for the onlookers, a safety crew on standby, staging beams that eliminate any question about whether or not the cars are lined up right and no traffic in sight the whole way down the 1,320. On the other hand, you have traction mixes in Gatorade bottles, an instant-on green light, and traction issues no matter what combination shows up to the starting line. Oklahoma might not be the origin point of drag racing, but in the very popular world of semi-street racing and no-prep drags, Tulsa is the place to be. Urban Hillbilly Videos hit up a recent event and filmed both the 1/8th mile small tire class and the 1/4 mile big tire class. Check out the footage below!

Tulsa Osage cassino raceway park has been the best hidden gem in drag racing. They are going to be expanding and resurfacing the track ,pit areas, and parking.
