Off The Rocker: This Kawasaki KZ1000-Powered Lawn Mower Is Mental!

Let’s start off the explanation for what you are going to see here with a question: Can you picture what a Kawasaki KZ1000 police bike looks like? Built in a couple different forms over thirty years, the two most popular models ran the same engine you will see stuffed into this Craftsman riding mower. 88 horsepower and 60 ft/lbs of torque never looked so genuinely frightening in any other form, really. Compared to this kitbash, there is absolutely no merit whatsoever to the argument against three-wheelers at all. They look like sane choices. This looks like the result of five solid nights of combining engineering and doing shots of 151-proof rum with no chasers whatsoever.

The guy in the cowboy hat that is seriously interested in shortening his lifespan is Josh “Cadillac” Mazerolle and you’ve seen his work before. He owns the Toyota Hilux with the hand-fabbed widebody kit that has been seen in several places, including the Roadkill $3,000 Hooptie Challenge and in the Hoonigan lot burning down tires as if Australians were judging him on style and execution. The dude is unconventional but here, we have to wonder if that translates into a potential reason to have him committed for his own safety.

Then again, safety can be overrated…I’m willing to bet that the first time he gave the throttle on this contraption a good whack that he etched a new kind of fear into his brain!
