Video: Rental Car Burnout Extravaganza Thanks To The Guys At Aeromotive

Video: Rental Car Burnout Extravaganza Thanks To The Guys At Aeromotive

I seriously have to apologize for not having this video up sooner since I was actually at the track when this burnout went down. I knew that a couple of Aermotive Fuel System guys watched it happen and shot video of it, but I didn’t know they had it up on their facebook page. So here it is. The gang from Troy Coughlin’s Jeg’s Pro Mod Team doing a super bitchin rental mini-van burnout right next to their pit. It’s juvenile, it’s arguably dangerous, blah, blah blah, blah-blah. We don’t care. It’s fun to watch. Have at it, and big thanks to our boys at Aeromotive Fuel Systems.

All those people walking by and not really taking any notice. Just goes to show people don’t care about front wheel drives… lol

Explain to me again why it’s fun to potentially damage a rental car, which might end up costing the company to repair it.

  3. The Outsider

Now you know one of the reasons it costs so much to rent a car.

Whatever happened to do unto others as you would have them do unto you?

  4. Anamo

Looks like the Jeg’s idiots have gotten caught up in that stupid BS they do in Australia. I hope the car rental companies get wind of this and keep them from EVER renting a car.

OH come on!! These guys are having bit of fun! Don’t like don’t watch it. Reading these comments, makes me think my mother in law is reading Bangshift also. Go cry somewhere else!

I’m with you Dustin, what ever happened to “drive it like you rented it”?
I guess they never heard of the 1966 Shelby GT350H car either.
By the way I once rented a Ford Probe GT while in Hawaii, and I took it down the 1/8 mile while in Hilo,Hawaii.
For god sakes people life is short,so enjoy it.

I have to agree with Dustin and Duster! If one minute of no load revving will destroy a late model minivan….it was friggin junk to begin with!

And as far as wasting the rental car companies tires….for the amount I got charged the last time I rented a car, I figure they’ve got it coming to them!

You should be ashamed at yourselves, posting these fun and entertaining vids of rental car mayhem and abuse! LOL
My last rental was a Cadillac CTS, I loved everything about it except the small 4 after the CTS, making it 4WD so no burnout 🙁 but on little twisting mountain roads I was on it was a dream to drive.

And the reason rental cars are so expensive is because they’re there to make a profit, you those insurance they make you pay for? It’s not an insurance at all, it’s extra profit for them, if you total or damage the car they put it in the “lost” column.

I worked for a car rental company for almost 10 years, they know exactly what people do to them, it’s the cost of doing bussiness. Me and my fellow lot attendants did everything from burnouts to donuts to mud boggs to jumping Lincoln Town Cars up driveways. If we couldn’t kill them then no customer could.

Now there’s the sorts of “protect the company’s assets” employees that every business would like to hire by the dozen . . . .

Did all of the Bangshift juvenile delinquents here fail basic logic and simple economics? Increases in the “cost of doing business” mostly lead to increased prices (and often less money for raises, bonuses and better employee compensation).

In other words, knuckleheads pointlessly tearing up the inventory is ultimately paid for by the customers. Vandalism is just as bad as shoplifting to the bottom line because it increases the cost of providing the product to the customers and deprives the business of working assets it invested in.

It’s a RENTAL, you’re paying to use it, if you break it you pay for it.
Is it wrong to use too much hot water in a hotel room? Maybe you should also clean it before leaving your room so they don’t have to pay someone to do it? How about not eating everything in your plate at a buffet?
You’re paying to use the car for a few days, a burnout isn’t going to break the car, most of us do it with our personnal cars too.

        +1

Everyone thinks thinks that because a company is big and faceless, what customers or employees do to assets or inventory is no big deal. They got it coming to ’em.

Question: What if Chad was the proud owner of Chad’s U-Drive Rental yard, and rented pickups. Some guy rents it and later Chad sees on You Tube the guy doing burnouts at Hooter’s in his rental pick up. Is Chad OK with that?

  10. Ermott

blah, blah blah, blah-blah. We don’t care.

If I were a national rental car chain, I’d keep an eye out for this sort of thing, establish a “Under no circumstances rent to these people” list.

And you’d be on it. blah, blah blah, blah-blah.
