When the 187 Customs crew decides to save a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang, they do it for real. This car was sitting in an old abandoned building and needed to be saved. The building was the location for a stash of family cars that had been sitting for somewhere around 28 years and while most of the cars had been moved in recent years there were still a few left and now the building is falling down. Not down down, but the roof is falling in and that isn’t going to be good at all for anything left in the building, especially this 1970 Mach 1.

Shawn grew up with this car and was always told that it was a Drag Pack car with all matching numbers. It definitely needs some love, and unfortunately has had a couple of parts pulled from it over the years. In this video, you’ll hear Shawn and the boys telling stories about the car, about what’s going on at the shop, and then you’ll get to watch it get dragged out of the building and onto the trailer.

The fate of this car is still unknown, as there are family members involved and some uncertainty as to who will ultimately own it and restore it. Regardless, it’s a cool story and a cool car.
